Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd in Ireland near Westport is seeking a Moulding Engineer to support a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role involves ensuring product attributes meet specifications and maintaining equipment through preventive and demand maintenance, in a life sciences setting.

You will collaborate with Quality and Production to maximise performance, maintain documentation for procedures and maintenance, and support process improvements in molding,

Qualifications

• A relevant technical qualification in engineering/science or moulding.
• Degree level preferable and/or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of molding, extrusion and polymer processes advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with quality to ensure product attributes meet specifications.
• Maintain day-to-day preventative and demand maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Liaise with Production to maximise equipment performance.
• Maintain records on Engineering Procedures and maintenance tasks.

What you’ll deliver:

• To partner with quality to ensure product attributes and performance achieve all specifications.
• To ensure the performance of day-to-day preventative and demand maintenance activity to maintain manufacturing equipment.
• To liaise with Production to ensure equipment performance is maximised.
• To maintain records and documentation on relevant EngineeringProcedures and preventative/ demand maintenance.

Experience required:

• A relevant technical qualification in engineering/science/moulding.
• Degree Level preferable and or relevant experience.
• Relevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of molding, extrusion and/or polymer processes and technologies.
• Strong analytical problem solving skills; statistics knowledge/experience would be advantageous.
