Job summary

The House Hotel in Galway is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support a busy hotel kitchen. Reporting to the Breakfast Chef, you will help ensure smooth morning service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in both the kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Flexible to morning shifts, about 20 hours per week across five days, you will follow HACCP guidelines, handle crockery and waste, and work as part of a dedicated team to deliver excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy hotel kitchen.
• Have basic English.
• Be hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Morning shifts only, approximately 20 hours per week over 5 days.
• Support kitchen operations during morning service and report to the Breakfast Chef.
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Dispose of waste and store crockery, glassware and cutlery properly.
• Follow HACCP standards as trained.
