Job summary

Sensori in Ireland is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to own the commercial performance of assigned MEP projects from bid to final account. You will combine estimating, tender preparation and live cost control with procurement and change management.

Working with project managers and site teams, you will protect margins, manage contractual obligations, and prepare valuations, cost reports and final accounts for clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
• Experience in valuations, variations, claims and final accounts.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Accurate and detail-oriented with strong organisational ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender returns that are accurate and on time.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and proposals.
• Track project cost, cash position and margin.
• Manage procurement and subcontract packages through to final account.
• Price and negotiate variations and change orders.
• Prepare monthly valuations, cost reports and final accounts with clients.
• Provide commercial guidance to project teams.
