Dornan Engineering Group, based in Dublin, is seeking a BIM Technician to support our Digital Construction Team. You will produce and update 3D BIM models for M&E services, develop coordinated drawings, and work with engineers and site teams to resolve clashes and maintain up-to-date documentation.

The role requires a BIM/Engineering qualification and hands-on experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines are essential.

Qualificações

• Qualified in BIM, Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
• Experience as a BIM Technician or similar in construction/building services.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; Navisworks knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of mechanical/electrical services and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, modelling practices and clash detection.

Responsabilidades

• Produce and update detailed 3D BIM models and technical drawings for M&E services.
• Develop coordinated models and drawings per project specs and construction needs.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and site teams to ensure coordination.
• Identify and resolve clashes between building services and other disciplines.
• Prepare layouts, sections, schematics and installation drawings for construction.
• Incorporate design changes and keep drawings/models up to date.
• Support design reviews and coordination meetings; respond to technical queries.
• Ensure BIM models and documents meet quality standards and deadlines.
