Job summary

Everlast Gyms, part of Frasers Group, is hiring a Sales & Retention Manager. You will own membership growth, member engagement and the commercial performance of the club, reporting to the General Manager.

You will lead sales activity, coach staff to achieve targets, and ensure a seamless member journey from first enquiry to long-term loyalty. This hands-on leadership role combines commercial thinking, people leadership and customer experience to maximise club performance and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in driving membership growth and revenue in a retail, gym or service business.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills to develop a high-performance team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with members and partners.
• Comfort with data, KPIs and performance-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales activity to drive new member acquisition and renewals.
• Coach colleagues to improve performance and conversion across the club.
• Develop and execute member engagement strategies to maximise retention.
• Analyse performance against KPIs and implement corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with General Manager to align sales activity with club profitability.
• Drive revenue across memberships, fitness products and related services.
• Support local partnerships and community engagement initiatives.
