We are currently recruiting for a part-time Meetings & Events Executive to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension or permanency.
This is a 25-hour-per-week role, working 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Please note that, as part of this role, you may also be required to support our Reservations and Front Office departments.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and customer-focused professional to join our Meetings & Events team.
You will play a key role in managing enquiries, converting business and coordinating event details to ensure a seamless experience for our corporate clients, conference organisers and social event hosts.
The role would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced, relationship-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
Manage incoming Meetings & Events enquiries, ensuring timely, accurate and professional responses.
Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings while maximising revenue opportunities.
Prepare proposals, contracts and event orders in line with hotel standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business.
Liaise closely with Operations, Sales and Food & Beverage teams to ensure events are delivered seamlessly.
Support with site inspections, show rounds and promotional activities.
Ensure all event details are communicated clearly and accurately to relevant departments.
Assist with forecasting and revenue reporting as required.
Provide support to the Reservations and Front Office departments when required.
Your day could begin by reviewing new enquiries, responding to clients and confirming key event details.
You may then conduct a show round for a prospective corporate client, before finalising event orders for upcoming conferences and working closely with the Operations team to ensure everything is in place.
You could also be checking in with an organiser ahead of an upcoming event, providing proactive support and strengthening the client relationship.

Previous hotel or hospitality experience, ideally within Sales, Events, Meetings & Events or Front Office.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport.
A proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using hotel systems such as Opera, Delphi or similar is an advantage.
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest and client service.
