Job summary

The Irish College of General Practitioners is seeking a Medical Education Coordinator to drive planning, development and delivery of educational programmes in Ireland. You will oversee blended learning formats, webinars, workshops, and digital content, working with course directors and external contributors.

Responsibilities include managing Moodle environments, learner engagement data analysis, and high-level programme reporting to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management or related field (desirable).
• Experience coordinating education, healthcare, training or professional development programmes.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and supporting complex programme delivery.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems, especially Moodle or similar platforms.
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, development, and delivery of medical education programmes, including blended learning and webinars.
• Manage programme timelines, deliverables, resources, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with Course Directors, Subject matter experts, and external contributors to develop educational content.
• Manage Moodle environments: course creation, configuration, content organisation, learner access.
• Analyse digital learning activity and engagement data to improve learner experience.
• Contribute to programme reports using participation, engagement, feedback, and performance data.
• Support planning of medical education delivery, digital learning, and learner engagement.
• Coordinate website content planning and promotional activities to raise awareness.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and learner experience.
