Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking an R&D Co‑Op Student in Ireland to support the design, development and verification of electrical components for medical devices. You will work with R&D New Product Development teams to bring new devices to market and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will assist in schematic capture, BOM management, prototype evaluation, bench testing, and documentation under supervision, while learning DFx and risk management processes in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with electrical design tools in regulated environments.
• Exposure to schematic capture and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development and verification of electrical components for medical devices.
• Support BOM generation and review.
• Contribute to prototype design and bench testing.
• Learn design controls, risk management and documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory and Project Management.
