Job summary

Stryker is seeking a motivated R&D Co‑Op Student in Ireland to contribute to the planning and design of electrical components for medical devices. You will work under supervision within the New Product Development environment and gain exposure to design controls, testing, and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, familiar with schematic capture and LTspice, and proficient with Altium Designer or KiCad.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Familiarity with schematic capture and circuit analysis.
• Experience with eCAD tools such as Altium Designer or KiCad.
• Exposure to LTspice simulations.
• Comfort working in a regulated medical device environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of electrical components for medical devices.
• Support design reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to design controls and risk management under supervision.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory and Project teams.
• Learn industry standards and regulatory requirements.
