Job summary

Nexus Recruitment Partners is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, maintain and repair a range of medical devices across hospitals and healthcare facilities in Ireland. The role offers extensive customer interaction and opportunities to build specialist expertise within the medical device sector.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience, strong fault-finding skills, and a willingness to travel throughout Ireland.

Qualifications

• Engineering background or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Professional approach with hospital/clinical customers.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and provide technical support for medical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform planned maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical faults.
• Respond to service calls and resolve issues within agreed timescales.
• Provide training to clinical staff on equipment operation.
