Glanua is seeking a Mechanical Site Fitter to deliver mechanical installations across Leinster. You will join a team of engineers, installing pipework and equipment and ensuring quality, safety and on-time delivery.

The role involves field testing, commissioning and collaboration with suppliers during procurement, with opportunities for career development within a growing organisation. A competitive base salary is offered, plus benefits and leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter/Fabricator.
• Experience installing equipment, systems and pipework (SS, PVC, PE, DI).
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems including strip-down repair and rebuild.
• Ability to work in a team and engage with suppliers during procurement.
• Full driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Work as part of a team in delivery of projects, promoting a one team ethos.
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are adhered to.
• Review design drawings and P&IDs to validate designs and spot issues.
• Site install of mechanical systems, pipework and equipment (DN4mm to DN2000mm).
• Modification, fabrication and installation of mechanical systems.
• Complete system testing and ITRs on installation.
• Maintenance and repair of water/wastewater equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Organise plant shutdowns and flow diversions with the team and customer.
• Mentor junior staff and support CPD.
