Job summary

Glanua seeks a Site Mechanical Fitter for projects in Ireland. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience, be trade qualified as Mechanical Fitter/Fabricator, hold a Level 6 qualification (Higher Advanced Certificate & National Craft Certificate) and a full driving licence.

Strong focus on pipework installation and maintenance for water/wastewater projects. Role involves team collaboration, adherence to Health & Safety standards, review of drawings (P&ID), site installations,

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in site mechanical fitting.
Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter/Fabricator, Maintenance Mechanical Fitter.
Level 6 qualification incl Higher Advanced Certificate & National Craft Certificate.
Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team on multiple projects, upholding a one-team ethos.
Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are followed.
Review design drawings and P&ID to validate designs and pre-empt issues.
Site installation of mechanical systems, pipework and equipment (DN4mm to DN2000mm in PVC, DI, PE, SS).
Modification, fabrication and installation of mechanical systems.
Complete system testing and ITRs post-installation.
Maintenance and repair of water/wastewater equipment.
