Job summary

Glanua in Ireland is seeking a Site Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The role requires hands-on experience, 2+ years in a similar position, and a solid trade qualification to install and maintain mechanical systems in water/wastewater projects.

You will work in a collaborative environment with suppliers and site teams, ensuring safety and quality while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter/Fabricator, Maintenance Mechanical Fitter.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in the delivery of projects on site.
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are adhered to.
• Review design stage mechanical drawings and P&ID to validate designs.
• Site install of mechanical systems, pipework and equipment including supports.
• Complete system testing and inspection test records on completion.
• Maintenance and repair of water/wastewater treatment equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation to maintain good order.
• Organise plant shutdowns and diversion of flows with permit-to-work.
