Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Site Mechanical Fitter to join our Kilkenny-based operations in Ireland. The role involves installing and maintaining mechanical systems for water and wastewater projects, working as part of a project team to deliver on multiple sites.

Essential qualifications include at least 2 years’ experience, Level 6 qualification, and a full driving license. A strong focus on safety, communication, and collaboration is required to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Essential: 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Level 6 qualification incl Higher Advanced Certificate & National Craft Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to deliver multiple projects.
• Review design-stage mechanical drawings and P&ID.
• Site install of mechanical systems, pipework and equipment.
• Complete system testing and ITRs after installation.
• Maintenance and repair of water/wastewater equipment.
• Organise plant shutdowns with permit-to-work and client.
