Job summary

Lumen Search is seeking a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor for a major project in Kildare. The role focuses on managing mechanical packages, valuations, variations, and final accounts for a large-scale project in the pharma, semiconductor or industrial sector.

You will work closely with project managers and site teams to monitor costs, assess subcontractor accounts, and report commercial risks. A strong understanding of piping packages and services is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor.
• Background with a mechanical or M&E contractor.
• Experience on pharmaceutical, semiconductor or industrial projects desirable.
• Strong understanding of mechanical services and piping packages.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts, variations and cost reporting.
• Good commercial awareness and communication skills.

Mechanical Quantity Surveyor

Location: Kildare

Salary: €75K - €90K DOE + Package

We are working with an established mechanical engineering contractor looking to appoint a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a major project in Kildare.

The role will suit someone with experience managing mechanical packages on large-scale pharmaceutical, semiconductor or industrial projects.
