Omega is supporting a Global FMCG manufacturing operation in Dublin to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Engineer. The role offers a stable Monday–Friday daytime pattern in a modern facility and a chance to contribute to reliability improvements and continuous improvement projects.

You will work in a multi-skilled maintenance team, maintaining, improving, and optimising plant performance across busy production lines and packaging operations.

Qualifications

• Time-served mechanical fitter, craftsperson or apprentice trained engineer.
• Previous manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience using CMMS systems, reporting tools and maintenance planning.
• Experience completing both reactive and planned maintenance.
• Strong health & safety attitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Job Location: Dublin North

Job Type: Permanent Days , 6-2, 40 hour week, monthly pay

Job Reward: €50,000 - €55,000 + Double time overtime rates +Pension + Benefits Target. However, apply with your expectations!

The Opportunity - Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Engineer

As part of a multi-skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving and optimising plant performance across a busy production and packaging operation.

You will support both planned and reactive maintenance activities whilst contributing towards reliability improvements, continuous improvement projects and overall equipment effectiveness.

This role will suit an engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and being actively involved on the factory floor.

You are likely to work across a range of equipment including:

Conveyors, Motors, Gearboxes, Bearings, Pumps, Chains & sprockets, Pneumatic systems, Packaging machinery, Automated production equipment, Compressors and utilities, Sensors and controls, Process and manufacturing plant
