Omega Resource Group is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician/Engineer in Dublin North. The role is a permanent day shift (Mon-Fri, 6-2), with 40 hours per week and a salary in the €50,000–€55,000 range plus double-time overtime, pension, and benefits.

Qualifications

Time-served Mechanical Fitter, Craftsperson or Apprentice Trained Engineer.
Previous manufacturing maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
Experience using CMMS systems, reporting tools, and maintenance planning.
Experience completing both reactive and planned maintenance.
Strong attitude towards health & safety.
Ability to work independently and within a team.

Omega is supporting a highly successful and expanding Global FMCG manufacturing, process and packaging business in the Dublin area, in the search for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team. The Opportunity - Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Engineer

As part of a multi-skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving and optimising plant performance across a busy production and packaging operation.

You will support both planned and reactive maintenance activities whilst contributing towards reliability improvements, continuous improvement projects and overall equipment effectiveness.

This role will suit an engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and being actively involved on the factory floor.
