Job summary

Solutions Limited in Dublin is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for a manufacturing site. You will fault find, repair and service a range of mechanical equipment including conveyors, with a strong focus on machine optimisation and preventive maintenance.

You’ll join a multisite group offering excellent training, progression opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. Live locally to Cabra, Dublin, and work a 07:30–19:30 & 19:30–07:30 shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Mechanical fault finding and repairs experience.
• Keen to gain access to first class training.
• Commutable to Dublin.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding on a range of mechanical equipment.
• Servicing conveyors, machinery and facilities.
• Diagnose issues, order parts and perform preventive maintenance.
• Install requirements, SOP training and administrative duties.

Are you a mechanical technician/fitter looking for an exciting new role that gives you exposure to a variety production equipment? Do you want to join a multisite group offering a great package who are known for their excellent staff benefits and retention as well as their first class training and development?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a mechanical fitter to join the team in Dublin. The successful applicant will have access to an excellent training program that will enable them to develop within the team and enhance their skillset. You will be servicing one of the groups main sites with the team (and alone once trained) and will be responsible for fault finding and repairing a variety of mechanical equipment, conveyors, machinery and facilities/building work. You will diagnose issues, order parts if needed, deal with preventive maintenance enhancing machine optimisation and carry out installation requirements, SOP training and administrative duties.

This is a great time to join the business who have a track record of training and developing staff! The business are a global food group with this particular site gaining significant investment, signing off several roles this year alone within the engineering team.
