Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Dublin North is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician/Engineer for a permanent days role within a modern, automated manufacturing facility. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance across conveyors, motors, gearboxes and packaging machinery to maximise uptime.

The role offers a stable Monday-Friday pattern, an excellent employer pension (12%), health benefits and long-term career prospects within a growing global manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Time-served mechanical fitter or engineer with manufacturing experience.
• Previous manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience using CMMS, maintenance planning and reporting tools.
• Reactive and planned maintenance experience.
• Health & safety oriented and able to work in a team or alone.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and scheduling.
• Mechanical breakdown diagnosis and repair.
• Root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Continuous improvement to improve reliability and uptime.
• Support production targets through maintenance activity.
• Inspect equipment and update CMMS records.
• Assist with engineering projects and investments.
• Maintain a safe, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Location: Dublin North

Job Type: Permanent Days , 6-2, 40 hour week, monthly pay

Job Reward: €50,000 - €55,000 + Double time overtime rates +Pension + Benefits Target.

Omega is supporting a highly successful and expanding Global FMCG manufacturing, process and packaging business in the Dublin area, in the search for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team. Essential Requirements

• Time-served Mechanical Fitter, Craftsperson or Apprentice Trained Engineer
• Previous manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience using CMMS systems, reporting tools, and maintenance planning
• Experience completing both reactive and planned maintenance
• Strong attitude towards health & safety
• Ability to work independently and within a team
