GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Mechanical Contracts Manager in Ireland to oversee multiple M&E projects across the Munster region. You will lead delivery, monitor budgets, and ensure timely, accurate reporting to senior management.

You should have 4+ years in M&E contracting, a degree or strong trade background, and solid IT skills. English fluency and eligibility to work in Ireland are required.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified or strong trade background.
• 4+ years experience with M&E Contractors in Ireland or the UK.
• Have worked as Mechanical Contracts Manager in Ireland or UK previously.
• Proven track record of managing M&E projects.
• Strong IT skills.
• Fluent English and eligible to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects.
• Monitor, review and control budgeted or agreed expenditure.
• Implement the Company’s Cost & Value Management procedures and produce commercial reports on time to senior management.
• Collaborate with Directors and Site Managers to identify risks and devise resolutions.
• Issue monthly progress reports for Senior Management.
• Ensure understanding and enforcement of Health & Safety requirements.

Job description

Mechanical Contracts Manager - Cork Contracts Manager (Mechanical Exp) required for a busy M&E Contractor to oversee multiple projects in the Munster Area. This is the ideal role for the experienced Contracts Manager coming from another large M&E Contractor.

Duties

• Full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects
• Ensure structures are put in place to monitor, review and control the budgeted or agreed expenditure.
• Implement the Companys Cost & Value Management procedures and ensure that all necessary commercial reports are produced accurately and in a timely fashion to upper management.
• Work closely with the Directors and Site Managers to support and recommend strategies, to identify any potential risks or issues and to find an appropriate resolution.
• Issue monthly progress reports for Senior Management
• An excellent understanding of Health & Safety Requirements

Requirements

• Degreequalified or a strong trade background.
