Global Professional Consultants Ireland is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee projects in the Munster region, primarily in Tralee. This role is ideal for existing Contracts Managers or Project Managers looking for advancement, handling multiple Pharmaceutical, Industrial, and Commercial projects across Kerry, Cork, Limerick, and Waterford.

The successful candidate will have over 10 years of management experience, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining a focus on time and cost. A salary of €120,000 – €140,000 is offered, alongside hybrid working options and an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of site/project management experience, 5+ at Contracts/Project Manager level.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong motivational and managerial skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all mechanical activities and ensure on-time project handover.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget.

Job description

One of Irelands leading contractors for mechanical installation services is currently looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to be based in Tralee and covering the Munster region. Projects include multiple Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Commercial across Kerry, Cork, Limerick and Waterford.

The Contracts Manager will take responsibility for all projects in the Munster region and the planning and coordination of all mechanical activities; is responsible for enforcing consistent standards and helps ensure on time handover of projects to clients. Would suit existing Contracts Manager seeking a move or an experienced Project Manager eager for progression. Also suited to a candidate returning home from the UK or overseas.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Must have 10+ year’s site / project management experience, five of which shall be at Contracts / Project Manager level.
• Full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects both from a time scale and commercial prospective, typically managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Effective motivational attributes combined with proven managerial skills, coupled with strong commercial awareness are essential requirements.
• Track record of ‘safe & efficient’ project delivery.
• A driving ambition to be a member of the ‘senior management team’ with promotional prospects to Directorship very achievable based on performance.
• Credible technical ability, with experience working in Building Services for the contractor.
• The Contracts Manager will assist and oversee the production of coordinated system drawings, plans through CAD and/or BIM.
• Consider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints.
• Management of projects from tender to client handover.
• Select plant and equipment to meet specifications.
• Prepare detailed technical submittals for approval.
• Identify Mechanical equipment requirements.
• Vendor / Contractor management on site.

Salary

• Salary circa €120,000 – €140,000 – DOE
