Job summary

Suir Engineering is seeking a Mechanical BIM QA/QC to join our Citywest office, Dublin. The role focuses on coordinating 3D models and ensuring clash-free information delivery on complex projects.

You will monitor modelling standards, create clash reports, and contribute to as-built documentation while adhering to our document control processes. Collaboration with Project Managers and client-facing meetings are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Mechanical work experience or a Qualified Pipefitter/Plumber.
• Experience using Autodesk Suite of products (AutoCAD, Navisworks, Plant 3D).
• Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures.
• Proficient with Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience producing AutoCAD service drawings.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand specifications and drawings.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor modelling standards for any clashes in drawings.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical BIM QA/QC to join Suir Engineering. This position will be based in our office in Citywest, Co. Dublin.

What you will be doing?

• Monitor modelling standards for any clashing drawings.
• 3D coordination of Asset Information Model.
• Produce images for clash reports.
• Contribute to the process of creating as built documentation.
• Follow document control processes.
• Liaise with the Project Manager reporting on progress.
• Attend meetings with Clients as requested

Is this the job for me?

• Suitable Candidate must have a minimum of 3 year’s relevant Mechanical work experience or Qualified Pipefitter/Plumber.
• Experience in utilizing Autodesk Suite of products.
• Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures.
• PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, ,Navisworks).
• Previous experience of producing AutoCAD service drawings.
• The ability to read, interpret and understand specifications and drawings.
• Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
