Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd is seeking an Electrical BIM QA/QC to join our Citywest Office. This role focuses on 3D coordination of Asset Information Model and monitoring modelling standards.

You will work with Autodesk Suite (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) and support as-built documentation, document control, and client meetings. A minimum of 3 years electrical experience or qualified electrician is required; we offer 23 days leave and strong pension/health benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years electrical work experience or qualified electrician.
• Experience using Autodesk Suite of products (Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks).
• Understanding of basic construction processes and procedures.
• PC skills: Word, Excel, Outlook; ability to read/interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor modelling standards for clashing drawings.
• 3D coordination of Asset Information Model.
• Produce images for clash reports.
• Contribute to as-built documentation.
• Follow document control processes.
• Liaise with Project Manager on progress.
• Attend meetings with Clients as requested.

What you will be doing

• Monitor modelling standards for any clashing drawings.

• Contribute to the process of creating as built documentation.


• Follow document control processes.


• Liaise with the Project Manager reporting on progress.


• Attend meetings with Clients as requested.

Is this role for me?

• Suitable Candidate must have a minimum of 3 year’s relevant Electrical work experience or Qualified Electrician.


• Experience in utilizing Autodesk Suite of products.


• Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures.


• PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint, Revit, AutoCAD, FABCAD,Navis works).


• Previous experience of producing AutoCAD service drawings.


• The ability to read, interpret and understand specifications and drawings.


• Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines.


• Ability to work as part of a team.
