Job summary

Suir Engineering are seeking an Electrical BIM QA/QC to join our Citywest Office, Dublin. The role focuses on monitoring modelling standards, 3D coordination of the Asset Information Model and producing clash images for reports.

You will work with Autodesk Suite (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), read drawings and specifications, and support document control, progress reporting, and client meetings. A minimum of 3 years’ electrical experience or qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' relevant Electrical experience or qualified Electrician.
• Experience using Autodesk Suite of products (Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks).
• Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures.
• Proficient in Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience producing AutoCAD service drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing

Is this role for me?

• Suitable Candidate must have a minimum of 3 year’s relevant Electrical work experience or Qualified Electrician.


• Experience in utilizing Autodesk Suite of products.


• Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures.


• PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint, Revit, AutoCAD, FABCAD,Navis works).


• Previous experience of producing AutoCAD service drawings.


• The ability to read, interpret and understand specifications and drawings.


• Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines.


• Ability to work as part of a team.
