Job summary

Suir Engineering in Citywest, Co. Dublin, seeks a Mechanical BIM QA/QC to join our team on site. The role centers on 3D coordination of Asset Information Models and producing clash reports at Citywest, Dublin.

You will follow document control processes, liaise with the Project Manager, and help prepare as-built documentation for internal reviews and client sign-off, with opportunities for international assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Mechanical experience or qualified pipefitter/plumber.
• Experience using Autodesk Suite of products.
• Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures.
• Proficiency with Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience producing AutoCAD service drawings.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand specifications and drawings.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor modelling standards and detect clashes.
• 3D coordination of Asset Information Model.
• Produce images for clash reports.
• Contribute to creating as-built documentation.
• Follow document control processes.
• Liaise with the Project Manager on progress.
• Attend client meetings as required.

What you will be doing?

• Attend meetings with Clients as requested

Is this the job for me?

• Suitable Candidate must have a minimum of 3 year’s relevant Mechanical work experience or Qualified Pipefitter/Plumber.
• Experience in utilizing Autodesk Suite of products.
• Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures.
• PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, ,Navisworks).
• Previous experience of producing AutoCAD service drawings.
• The ability to read, interpret and understand specifications and drawings.
• Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
