SuperValu is seeking an enthusiastic Meat Department team member in Ireland to maintain high standards of meat preparation and customer service. You will ensure product quality, assist customers, and contribute to a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to SOPs, and up-to-date product knowledge to drive sales and customer satisfaction in a busy retail setting.

Formación

• Craft butchery course is desirable.
• Numerical skills expected.
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and multi-task under pressure.
• Passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers.
• HACCP training is beneficial but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain retail cuts at a high standard in accordance with customer needs.
• Drive sales through ensuring SOPs and store standards are met daily.
• Merchandise and present department to the highest standard.
• Implement planograms correctly.
• Control stock rotation so quality and freshness are maintained.
• Manage waste and shrink in the department.
• Ensure continuous improvement by staying up to date with new products and initiatives.
• Enhance product knowledge by gaining information from various sources and sharing ideas.
• Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working.
