Job summary

SuperValu Centra in Ireland seeks a motivated Meat Department colleague to ensure high standards of quality, freshness and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining retail cuts, executing planograms, managing stock rotation, reducing waste, and promoting products with enthusiasm while living the brand values of Genuine, Passion for Food, and Innovation.

Qualifications

• Craft butcher(y) course desirable.
• Previous customer service experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and multi-task under pressure.
• A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers.
• HACCP training is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain retail cuts to a high standard.
• Drive sales by ensuring SOPs and store standards are met daily.
• Merchandise and present department to the highest standard.
• Implement planograms correctly.
• Control stock rotation for quality and freshness.
• Manage waste and shrink in the department.
• Ensure continuous improvement in the Meat Department with new products and initiatives.
• Enhance product knowledge and share ideas with colleagues.
• Engage with new initiatives and ways of working.
