Job summary

Viatris seeks a Manufacturing Operator to operate lines in line with SOPs, ensuring GMP-compliant cleaning and setup, and accurate batch records. You will manage in-process testing, equipment readiness, and product conditions while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing lines in accordance with SOPs to meet output targets
• Ensure equipment and area cleaned to GMP standards prior to use
• Set up machines and equipment, perform in-process testing, and watch product condition during processing
• Complete Batch Manufacturing Record and reconcile BMRs per SOPs
• Report issues to Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager as needed
• Maintain high GMP standards and housekeeping; inspect batches for quality
• Handle and store Controlled Drugs per procedures, ensuring product security
• Follow health, safety and environmental requirements and perform other duties as assigned
• Use MES, SAP, Trackwise, Documentum and other manufacturing software
• Seek process improvements and learn new skills

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing lines in efficient manner in accordance with the relevant SOPs to ensure required output targets are achieved
• Ensure that the manufacturing equipment and area is cleaned to GMP standards prior to use
• Responsible for the preparatory set up machines and equipment, and product in process testing, and for product condition during processing
• Complete the Batch Manufacturing Record and the reconciliations of the BMR according to relevant SOPs
• Report directly to Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager, if any problems or damage occurs
• Responsible for a high standard of GMP and good housekeeping, and for inspection of batches that do not meet the quality standards
• Responsible for the handling and storage of Controlled Drugs in accordance with relevant procedures, ensuring product security
• Adhere to all company and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements, and perform any other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor / Manager
• User of Manufacturing support software packages such as MES, SAP, Trackwise, Documentum, etc.
• Constantly look to improve the process and to learn new skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• Candidates are required to be able to work different shift patterns plus overtime when required
• Candidates are required to have a good understanding of the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices. Ideally candidates have experience of working in a GMP environment
