Job summary

Viatris is hiring a Manufacturing Operator in Ireland to support 24-7 shift operations. You will work on manufacturing lines, perform setup and in-process testing, and ensure GMP compliance and proper documentation.

The role requires teamwork and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced pharmaceutical setting. The ideal candidate has a Leaving Certificate or equivalent, comfortable with 4-cycle shifts, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification required.
• Able to work across 4-cycle, 24-7 shift patterns.
• Good understanding of GMP requirements and a GMP environment preferred.
• Demonstrated strong teamwork and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Positive, can-do attitude with excellent timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing lines in an efficient manner to meet output targets.
• Ensure equipment and area are cleaned to GMP standards prior to use.
• Set up machines and perform product in-process testing and batch condition checks.
• Complete Batch Manufacturing Records and reconcile BMRs per SOPs.
• Report issues to Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager as needed.
• Maintain high GMP compliance and housekeeping; inspect non-conforming batches.
• Handle and store Controlled Drugs per procedures ensuring security.
• Use MES, SAP, Trackwise and Documentum software; pursue process improvements.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Operate manufacturing lines in efficient manner in accordance with the relevant SOP’s to ensure required output targets are achieve
• Ensure that the manufacturing equipment and area is cleaned to GMP standards prior to use
• Responsible for the preparatory set up machines and equipment, and product in process testing, and for product condition during processing.
• Complete the Batch Manufacturing Record and the reconciliations of the BMR according to relevant S.O.P.`s.
• Report directly to Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager, if any problems or damage occurs.
• Responsible for a high standard of GMP and good housekeeping, and for inspection of batches that do not meet the quality standards.
• Responsible for the handling and storage of Controlled Drugs in accordance with relevant procedures, ensuring product security.
• Adhere to all company and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements, and perform any other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor / Manager.
• User of Manufacturing support software packages e.g. MES, SAP, Trackwise, Documentum etc.
• Constantly look to improve the process and to learn new skills

Minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• Candidates are required to be able to work different shift patterns plus overtime when required. (4 Cycle, 24-7 shift pattern)
• Candidates are required to have a good understanding of the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices. (Ideally candidates have experience of working in a GMP environment).
