Job summary

Viatris is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to operate production lines in compliance with GMP and SOPs. This role supports batch manufacturing, performs in-process testing, and ensures clean, safe facilities while using MES, SAP, TrackWise and Documentum software.

The successful candidate will join a GMP-focused environment in Ireland, work on multi-shift patterns, and contribute to continuous improvement with a positive, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work 4 cycle, 24-7 shift patterns.
• Understanding of GMP requirements and willingness to work in GMP environment.
• Strong teamwork and continuous improvement mindset.
• Good time-keeping and a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing lines to meet output targets.
• Ensure equipment and area cleaned to GMP standards.
• Set up machines and perform in-process testing.
• Complete Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and reconcile records.
• Handle and store controlled drugs per procedures; ensure product security.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental requirements; perform other duties as assigned.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Operate manufacturing lines in efficient manner in accordance with the relevant SOP's to ensure required output targets are achieve
• Ensure that the manufacturing equipment and area is cleaned to GMP standards prior to use
• Responsible for the preparatory set up machines and equipment, and product in process testing, and for product condition during processing.
• Complete the Batch Manufacturing Record and the reconciliations of the BMR according to relevant S.O.P.`s.
• Report directly to Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager, if any problems or damage occurs.
• Responsible for a high standard of GMP and good housekeeping, and for inspection of batches that do not meet the quality standards.
• Responsible for the handling and storage of Controlled Drugs in accordance with relevant procedures, ensuring product security.
• Adhere to all company and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements, and perform any other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor / Manager.
• User of Manufacturing support software packages e.g. MES, SAP, Trackwise, Documentum etc.
• Constantly look to improve the process and to learn new skills

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• Candidates are required to be able to work different shift patterns plus overtime when required. (4 Cycle, 24-7 shift pattern)
• Candidates are required to have a good understanding of the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices. (Ideally candidates have experience of working in a GMP environment).
