Stryker Ireland in Limerick offers a placement as part of the 2027 Cooperative cohort. Based at the Limerick site, you will work with your team leader and college supervisor on a Finance improvement project, its objectives, scope and milestones, and support the financial month end process.

You will participate in budgeting, forecasting, capital spend tracking, site spend and inventory movements, and assist with audits.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university course in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field for the duration of the placement.
• Honesty and integrity; must comply with the quality system, regulations and company policies.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, dependable and punctual.
• Organised, focused and capable of multitasking.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with basic PC skills.
• Team player and capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team.
• Available for 6, 9 or 12 months – start date to be discussed with Talent Acquisition Business Partner.

Responsabilités

• Identify a Finance improvement project with objectives, scope, milestones and evaluation.
• Assist in the financial month end process (posting journals, reporting, liaising with shared service center).
• Input into budgeting process by taking responsibility for budget inputs and working with the business to set budgets and projections.
• Forecasting on a quarterly, monthly and weekly basis.
• Assist the team in tracking capital spend and monitoring site spend and inventory movements.
• Support compliance and internal/external audit activities.
