Hunter Savage is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager for a well-established manufacturing client in Ireland. The role involves ownership of HSE programmes, compliance, risk management, training and audits across the operation.

Reporting to HR, the role also includes acting as GDPR Officer and supporting insurance and workplace claims. A broad, hands-on remit requires collaboration with Leadership, Operations and HR to drive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Experience as Health, Safety Manager or similar senior safety role.
• Manufacturing/FMCG experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and risk assessments.
• Desirable NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
• Experience with audits, inspections and investigations.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and procedures.
• Maintain and improve the Health & Safety Management System.
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments with corrective actions.
• Deliver H&S training and coordinate mandatory inductions.
• Investigate incidents and manage accident reporting and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate GDPR compliance and act as GDPR Officer.
• Liaise with insurers and regulators; support audits.
• Prepare monthly H&S reports and KPI updates.
• Lead safety committees and promote near-miss reporting.
