Job summary

HireIQ in North Dublin is seeking a Management Accountant on a 12-month FTC hybrid role to join a busy finance team and partner with senior management. You’ll own monthly management accounts, variance analysis and cost control initiatives, gaining broad exposure to budgeting, forecasting and commercial decision making.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 1–2 years PQE and a track record in management accounting and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• 1-2 years’ PQE.
• Management accounting and financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and business unit reporting, including variance analysis.
• Handle journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Analyse actuals vs budget, spot trends and flag improvement opportunities.
• Lead cost analysis and support cost control initiatives.
• Partner with non-finance stakeholders, offering clear financial insight.
• Support pricing applications and commercial proposals.
• Improve reporting, processes and systems.
• Support internal and external audits.
