Tekno in Ireland seeks an Orthopaedic Upper Limb & MAKO Sales Specialist to drive growth of the Upper Limb portfolio and MAKO robotics across ROI. The role is primarily based in Dublin with occasional travel to other regions, and involves training, installations, and high-level clinical support for surgeons and theatre teams.

You will build strong surgeon relationships, execute account strategies, forecast needs, and grow utilisation while collaborating with marketing on demos and awareness

Qualificações

• A Higher Education Qualification and an aptitude for learning new Surgical Technologies.
• A science/engineering graduate is preferable.
• Ideally a minimum of 3+ years’ successful track record in medical sales or healthcare service in the hospital environment is desirable.
• Strong commercial and business acumen highly desirable. Ability to carry out risk/return analysis.
• Candidate must be ambitious and have the desire to drive business growth.
• Organisational skills are key and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role is customer facing and will require strong influencing skills.
• Candidates must have the ability to be comfortable working in the Hospital Operating Room environment.
• Role requires both Technical and Sales Skills, with a primary focus on Customer Service & Patient Safety.
• The candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to work well within a team.
• Good administrative and computing skills are necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Full ownership of the Upper Limb Extremities portfolio and associated implant systems.
• Leading the MAKO Robotics & Navigation portfolio, including installations, training, and utilisation growth.
• Providing high‑level clinical and technical support to surgeons, theatre teams, radiology, and sterile services.
• Achieving sales, utilisation, and market share objectives across both portfolios.
• Acting as a trusted partner to key surgeons and hospital stakeholders.
• Coordinate case coverage and loan kit scheduling.
• Provide pre-operative plans using MAKO software and deliver in-services to relevant teams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support demos and surgeon evaluations.
