Job Description

Dawson Luxury Suites provide luxury suite accommodation in the centre of Dublin for tourism. We are seeking a Maintenance Superintendent / Maintenance Supervisor to support the maintenance, repair and upkeep of premises and facilities. This role involves both hands-on maintenance work and the coordination of third-party contractors where specialist works are required. The role includes planning, directing and managing resources and engaging with third parties as part of the day-to-day operation of the position. Hands-on duties will include painting, changing bulbs, furniture repair and replacement, general repairs, electrical work, plumbing work, deep cleaning of fabrics, wall hanging. As a management role is it also envisaged that role would involve identifying and reporting maintenance issues, attending site with contractors, coordinating specialist works, and planning and management of maintenance resources and tasks. Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant experience and skills in building and property maintenance, electrical maintenance, plumbing, painting, general repairs, troubleshooting, contractor coordination, safe use of tools and equipment, and health and safety awareness. At least five years’ experience in a similar role are desirable.
