Job summary

Yugo, a global student housing management company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for our Dublin sites. You will lead the maintenance team to ensure high standards across communal areas and outdoor spaces, while supporting the City Manager on regulatory compliance and safety matters.

You will implement the PPM regime, oversee repairs, conduct site inspections, and provide training to residence teams and technicians.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a facilities or maintenance role.
• Previous experience in a people management capacity.
• Great teamworking and customer service skills.
• Ability to be proactive with strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Highly organized and passionate about delivering exceptional service quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team to ensure exceptional cleanliness of all communal areas and external grounds
• Support the City Manager with regulatory and compliance issues, ensuring all routine testing are carried out and records are maintained
• Ensure implementation of the pre-determined PPM regime and cost-effectively resolve all site level repair issues
• Ensure regular inspections are conducted and arrangements are in place for security, fire, and safety
• Provide support and trainings for residence teams and lead the technicians and housekeeping team
• Conduct regular walk throughs of our spaces to respond to any issues as they arise
• Along with the day to day activities within your role, you will also be required to manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, where it states that you have a duty to take care of yourself and those around you, by your acts or omissions and to cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters
