Job summary

Staycity Group is hiring a Maintenance Team Member to support the guest journey by maintaining apartments and communal areas, ensuring safety and order.

You will work with the Maintenance Manager on planned checks and respond to reactive maintenance, delivering regular safety inspections and helping manage stock and supplies. A background in hotel maintenance is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience and knowledge of country/property maintenance, safety and health regs in hotels.

Responsibilities

• Support planned maintenance checks with the Maintenance Manager and perform hands-on reactive maintenance.
• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly safety checks and ensure apartments and public areas are in good working order.
• Assist with preventive and curative maintenance and promote environment protection measures.

We would love you to have:

• Previous relevant experience and some knowledge of country/property specific maintenance, safety, and health regulations in a similar environment or property/hotel is preferred but not essential

What you can do for us:

• Work with our Maintenance Manager in supporting planned maintenance checks and take a hands-on approach to reactive maintenance.
• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly safety checks as well as ensuring everything is in working order in the apartments and public areas,
• Take part in preventive and curative maintenance of the premises and equipment while promoting and contributing to setting up internal measures for the protection of the environment
• Assist with managing stocks, equipment and supplies for the department
• Ensure compliance with current safety procedures, and control the condition of the building, technical equipment and all safety and alarm systems in the property
• Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately
