Dawn Meats is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our site in Carrolls Cross, Co. Waterford. You will manage electrical works, lead preventative maintenance, and ensure safe, compliant operation of site equipment.

The role requires post-apprenticeship experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work shifts. You will document work via handheld devices and contribute to a safety-first culture at the plant.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship experience in electrical work/maintenance.
• Experience with machines, process equipment, controls & automation.
• Experience in electrical & mechanical installations & maintenance.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Mansioni

• Manage full electrical works and troubleshooting for site and equipment.
• Lead the site preventative electrical programme and manage scheduling.
• Carry out work orders promptly and safely following company procedures.
• Upload job details onto handheld field technology on completion.
• Test, inspect and certificate installations where required.
• Explain system procedures to site management and develop knowledge of site equipment.
• Complete all work orders and paperwork accurately.
• Follow Health and Safety rules and SOPs and participate in training.
