Job summary

Leevin Group in Limerick is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will maintain properties, perform repairs, and handle general upkeep to keep environments safe and functional.

You will specify materials, quote repair costs, advise customers on appliance use, and perform painting and basic tasks using hand tools. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of properties and performing repairs.
• Ability to specify and purchase appropriate materials for tasks.
• Attend meetings to establish priorities and assign tasks.
• Inspect appliances and identify causes of breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Examine customers’ appliances and identify the cause of breakdowns.
• Provide rough estimates to customers for repair costs.
• Repair or replace defective appliance components after customer approval.
• Advise customers on proper appliance use.
• Perform painting tasks and use hand tools for maintenance.

Maintenance Assistant - Limerick based (part-time)

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this position, therole involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep to maintain a safe and functional environment.

Skills, Requirements and Responsibilities;

• Responsible for the maintenance of our properties, compiling standard specifications /procedures for each item.
• Responsible for specifying and purchasing the most suitable material to execute the maintenance.
• Attends, schedules, and facilitates internal meetings to help establish priorities and assign tasks
• Examine customers’ appliances and identify the cause of appliance breakdowns.
• Provide rough estimates to customers on how much it would cost to repair damaged or malfunctioning appliances.
• Repair or replace defective or damaged appliance components upon approval from customers.
• Advise customers on how to use appliances correctly.
• The ability to use various hand tools.
• Perform painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing to maintain aesthetics and protection of walls, furniture, and outdoor areas.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
