Job summary

Marks Sattin in Ireland is seeking an experienced Technology M&A Director to lead technology workstreams across complex mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, divestitures and separations. This is a senior leadership role shaping technology strategy, due diligence and post‑deal transformation for major client engagements.

You will partner with CFOs, CIOs and deal sponsors, drive Day One and Day 100 plans, and help win new business while building senior client relationships.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading technology workstreams within mergers, acquisitions, divestments, carve-outs or separation programmes in an advisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end M&A lifecycle.
• Experience delivering technology due diligence, integration planning and separation execution.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise applications, cloud technologies, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management and technology operating models.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations.
• Demonstrated success leading large client engagements and managing senior executive stakeholders.
• Proven experience building teams, developing client relationships and winning new business.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology workstreams across complex M&A transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, carve-outs, divestments and separations.

• Assess enterprise architecture, applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, cybersecurity and data landscapes as part of transaction assessments.
• Partner closely with CFOs, CIOs, deal sponsors and executive stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities, leading proposals, building senior client relationships and contributing to the firm's growth strategy.
