Job summary

EY-Parthenon’s Deal Management team in Ireland seeks a Senior Consultant to advise clients on technology strategies for transactions, spanning pre-deal diligence to carve-out and value creation. You will lead workstreams, manage senior stakeholders and deliver high-quality outputs across technology topics.

You will collaborate with diverse teams, stay current with AI and cloud trends, and contribute to development initiatives while supporting client engagements and business growth.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of professional services/consulting experience covering IT due diligence, separation and divestiture, post-merger integration, operating-model design, and synergy or value-creation analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce high calibre reports and presentations.
• Experience managing workstreams, teams, stakeholders, budgets and timetables.
• Education in computer science, information technology, engineering, informatics, data science or related discipline.
• Proven experience in technology strategy, systems/architecture reviews, infrastructure analysis, and cybersecurity review.

Responsibilities

• Lead/contribute to technology M&A projects such as technology diligence, separation/integration planning, and value creation/cost improvement.
• Assist in deal origination activities, including pitches and presentations within project teams.
• Work in client engagement teams supporting technology strategies for transactions.
• Demonstrate strong business and technical acumen to drive client value.
• Stay up-to-date with AI, cloud and emerging tech trends and apply them to EY engagements.
• Contribute to practice development, mentor junior team members, and support learning and recruitment.
