Job summary

Park Hotel Kenmare, a distinguished luxury property, seeks a Reservations & Events Manager to oversee reservations operations, optimise room revenue, and deliver a seamless booking experience aligned with the hotel’s high-end standards.

The role requires experience in luxury hotels, strong organisational skills and a passion for exceptional guest service. Reports to the General Manager and Director of Sales, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is desirable but not essential.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a luxury hotel reservations, front office or sales environment.
• Strong PMS knowledge (Guestline, Opera, Hotsoft or similar).
• Understanding of revenue management and yield optimisation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reservations department to ensure efficient booking processes.
• Handle all reservation inquiries (telephone, email, online) professionally.
• Manage room inventory with Front Office and Sales to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Act as primary administrator for the PMS and load/maintain rates.
• Collaborate with Director of Sales to implement promotional strategies.
