Job summary

Cashel Palace Hotel, a premier luxury destination in Cashel, invites a motivated porter to support the Front Office and Concierge teams. You will assist guests with luggage, provide directions, and ensure the public areas reflect five-star standards with warm Irish hospitality.

We seek a service-driven individual with excellent English, a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, and a professional, friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles is advantageous.
• Excellent spoken English and communication skills.
• Professional and polished appearance and conduct.
• Strong focus on service excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to lift/move luggage safely.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and assist with luggage.
• Escort guests to rooms and provide information on facilities.
• Assist with departures and luggage handling.
• Provide valet parking and vehicle assistance when required.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the hotel entrance, lobby and public areas.
• Assist with delivery of guest amenities, messages and packages.
• Support Front Office and Concierge operations as needed.
• Provide local knowledge and recommendations.
