Job summary

The Brehon Hotel & Spa in Killarney, a luxury 4* property, is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our friendly Brehon Bar team. You will report to the Bar Manager and help oversee day-to-day operations in the bar and function spaces.

Key responsibilities include leading, training and mentoring a large team; ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction through upselling, product knowledge and excellent service. Flexible hours and opportunities for development are on offer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bar Supervisor or Duty Manager in a 4* hotel.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food & beverage procedures in restaurants, bars and functions.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a large team.
• Ability to build, train and retain a team.
• Ability to prioritise and delegate.
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
• Enjoy working in hospitality and progressing your career.
• Flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

• Excellent product knowledge to allow menu development, upselling & training.
• Create a memorable, luxury experience for our guests and ensure guest satisfaction
• Train, guide, and mentor team members to develop and improve overall team skills
