Job summary

Pen and Player in Dublin seeks a dynamic Cocktail Bar Manager to lead operations, deliver warm Irish hospitality, and curate a premium cocktail experience for discerning guests. You will be the face of the venue, driving service excellence, overseeing staff recruitment, training, scheduling, inventory and compliance, and coordinating events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hotel/hospitality bar supervisory or management role.
• Strong written and verbal guest communication, able to multitask.

• Demonstrated experience managing projects or strategic change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, training, and scheduling of bar staff.
• Manage inventory and cost-control to maximise profitability.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and bar cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with Irish alcohol licensing and regulations.
• Develop and manage the bar budget, pricing, promotions.
• Plan and coordinate events and promotions for conferences and private parties.
