Job summary

Aramark Ireland seeks a Premium Bar Staff member in Dublin to deliver exceptional service in a premium setting, craft cocktails, and create memorable guest experiences. You will lead with advanced mixology, knowledge of premium beverages, and strong hospitality standards, working evenings and weekends while maintaining a spotless, compliant bar environment and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in premium or upscale bar environments
Advanced knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and classic and contemporary drink preparation techniques
Comprehensive understanding of spirits, wines, beers, and other premium beverages
Proficiency with POS systems and bar management software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and deliver quality service during high-volume periods
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining premium service standards
RBS certification or equivalent (required for Ireland)
Knowledge of Irish hospitality standards and local beverage preferences (preferred)
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with premium venue standards
Passion for hospitality and commitment to creating exceptional customer experiences

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers with precision and creativity, adhering to premium standards
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverage selections based on customer preferences and occasion
Maintain exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a professional, friendly, and attentive manner
Manage bar operations efficiently, including cash handling, inventory management, and stock rotation
Operate POS systems and other bar management software accurately and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar environment at all times, following health and safety regulations
Train and mentor junior bar staff on cocktail techniques, customer service standards, and bar procedures
Monitor and manage bar inventory, placing orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any service issues with professionalism and discretion
Comply with Irish responsible beverage service regulations and company policies
Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues during peak service periods
