Job summary
Harper Finley is seeking an Energy Engineer in Dublin with hybrid work options to support district heating projects. You will assess sites, coordinate design work and engage with clients and stakeholders, reporting progress to leadership.
The role requires an engineering degree and 3+ years in energy or renewable heating, plus GIS capability and strong analytical, client-facing skills. Travel and driving license are required.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or relevant qualification.
- 3+ years' experience in energy, building services or renewable heating.
- GIS experience with ArcGIS preferred.
- Strong analytical and project coordination abilities.
- Confident with customers and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assess the technical and commercial viability of potential projects.
- Manage project mapping and customer information using GIS.
- Support the design of energy centres, heat networks and building connections.
- Coordinate external consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Develop customer relationships and understand heating requirements.
- Lead grant applications with support from colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals and presentations.
- Monitor project progress and report against development targets.
- Support business strategy, industry engagement and policy discussions.
