Job summary

Peak Performance Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Logistics & Quality Director based in Dublin to own quality management, logistics and asset traceability for engines, APUs and aircraft components across international operations.

You will drive ASA-100/ISO compliance, manage self-audits, NCRs and supplier approvals, and lead external audits to closure. This role requires 10+ years in aviation quality/logistics and a strong track record in cross-border operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of aviation quality and/or logistics experience.
• Experience with engines, APUs or aircraft components.
• Background in aircraft leasing, trading, MRO or OEM environments.
• Direct experience with ASA-100 and AC 00-56B.

Responsibilities

• Act as designated quality lead for ASA-100/ISO requirements.
• Own and maintain Quality Assurance Manual and self-audit programme.
• Manage NCRs, SUPs, shelf-life, batch controls and supplier approvals.
• Lead external audits and close findings within timelines.
• Maintain aircraft asset records and traceability (back-to-birth records, FAA 8130-3, EASA Form 1).
• Manage receiving, storage, packing and shipping of engines, APUs and aircraft parts.
• Coordinate lease deliveries and redeliveries, shop inductions and returns.
• Oversee import/export, customs, dangerous goods and transport insurance.
• Select and manage logistics providers, MROs and freight forwarders.
• Establish service levels and monitor KPIs with external partners.
• Support commercial/technical review of MRO agreements from quality/logistics view.
• Report KPI to senior management.
• Standardise quality and logistics processes across entities.

Job description

An aviation leasing and asset management business is seeking an experienced Logistics & Quality Director to take ownership of quality management, logistics and asset traceability across its international operations.

Based in Dublin, this is a senior role with responsibility for ensuring the group’s engines, APUs and aircraft components remain compliant, audit-ready and move efficiently throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition and lease through repair, redelivery, sale or part-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the designated quality lead for ASA-100 / ISO requirements.
• Own and maintain the Quality Assurance Manual, controlled documentation and annual self-audit programme.
• Manage NCRs, suspected unapproved parts (SUP), shelf-life and batch controls, and supplier approvals.
• Lead external audits and ensure findings are closed within the required timelines.
• Maintain high standards of aircraft asset records and traceability, including back-to-birth records, FAA 8130-3, EASA Form 1 and certified true copies.
• Manage the receiving, storage, packing and shipping of engines, APUs and aircraft parts.
• Coordinate lease deliveries and redeliveries, shop inductions and returns, and engine stand, box and container management.
• Oversee import/export, customs, dangerous goods and transport insurance.
• Select, approve, audit and manage logistics providers, MROs and freight forwarders.
• Establish service levels and monitor external partners against agreed KPIs.
• Support the commercial and technical review of MRO agreements from a quality and logistics perspective.
• Report quality, logistics, audit and risk KPIs to senior management.
• Help standardise quality and logistics processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions as the business grows.

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of aviation quality and/or logistics experience, with meaningful experience involving engines, APUs or aircraft components.
• Background within aircraft leasing, trading, MRO or OEM environments.
• Direct experience with ASA-100 and AC 00-56B.
• Strong knowledge of aviation airworthiness documentation and component traceability requirements.
• Proven experience managing external audits.
• Experience managing 3PL providers, MROs, freight forwarders and other external partners.
• Strong understanding of aviation logistics and the physical movement and storage of high-value aviation assets.
• Ability to operate across quality, technical, commercial and logistics functions in an international business.
• Right to work in Ireland/EU.
