Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the order process from scheduling to delivery.
  • Coordinate transportation, inventory management and distribution.
  • Process customer orders from initiation to delivery with timely and accurate fulfilment.
  • Act as first point of contact for client queries on orders, scheduling and compliance.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance and other departments to streamline operations.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures for order management.
  • Manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock and optimise costs.
  • Track and report inventory updates and dispatch requirements.
  • Implement systems to enhance inventory tracking and accuracy.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics operations liaising with customers, internal stakeholders, suppliers and transport companies.
  • Oversee daily schedules with timely updates and communication.
  • Monitor delivery times and transport costs and recommend optimisations.
  • Maintain carrier performance and compliance, addressing issues promptly.
  • Negotiate with transport providers for cost-efficient and timely solutions.
  • Compile and analyse data on inventory, transportation and costs.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports for the sales team and leadership.
  • Support forecasting tools development to predict inventory needs.
