Job summary

rhe is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative in Galway to manage end-to-end warehouse tasks including receiving, storage, inventory checks and order picking. You will collaborate with Customer Service and other departments to ensure accurate records and efficient processes.

The role requires careful attention to detail, ability to operate warehouse equipment and drive large vehicles if required, and a proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement within a busy distribution

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics or warehousing.
• Previous driving experience is an advantage.
• Experience using warehouse machinery (forklift, pallet truck, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for end-to-end warehouse tasks from receiving to shipping.
• Receive and check stock from vendors and customers, completing paperwork.
• Put away stock and record locations.
• Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
• Assist with transfers of stock and investigate count discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure accurate records and activity.
• Support development of receiving, inventory management and shipping processes.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
